We are looking for an experienced IT Security Analyst for an assignment within the defense and security industry. You will be a central part of the work to ensure robust security solutions and high quality in complex technical environments. The role combines practical security testing work with analysis, requirements specification, and development of processes and methods to strengthen systems and deliveries.

You will work both independently and in close collaboration with several internal and external stakeholders, where you represent the security testing function and contribute to ensuring that deliveries meet high standards of security and quality.

• Develop, document, and further develop working methods and processes within security testing and IT security.
• Monitor developments in the field of IT security and translate insights into improvements.
• Conduct practical testing work according to established processes and goals.
• Develop test cases, ensure test coverage, and follow up on deviations, errors, and the need for retesting.
• Provide recommendations regarding test objects and further efforts related to product security.
• Plan activities and make time estimates to achieve set goals for quality and delivery.
• Ensure that security design meets requirements and internal guidelines.
• Represent the security testing function in collaboration with internal parties and customers, and lead relevant meetings.
• Document deviations and report status to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure correct documentation according to applicable routines, templates, and processes.
• Analyze and develop security requirements at the system and software level.
• Make technical assessments and propose measures to achieve approval from a security perspective.
• Work with security functions such as authentication, logging, IDS/IPS, and protection against malware.
• Perform recurring system tests, develop test scripts and methods, and keep test environments updated.
• Lead work on risk identification and risk analysis.
• Support realization and integration and provide expert support to clients and other stakeholders.

• University degree in system development, computer science, engineering with an IT/security focus, or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in relevant roles.
• High competence in IT security and associated standards.
• Several years of experience in testing work, testing tools, and various testing methodologies.
• Experience in IT security in virtualized server environments.
• Knowledge of scripting and security configuration of operating systems.
• Good understanding of security architecture, requirements analysis, and review.
• Experience in hardware and software-related IT security, including risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to document, report, and perform analyses and assessments.
• Experience with export control and information security.
• Documented certification in testing.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• Experience working with clients, servers, and network components in security-critical environments.
